  2. The best way to install this prgm and have full use of All T-Tutor modules
  3. is to make a directory named T-TUTOR off of your root directory.
  4.  
  5. * Then run the self-extracting file 1T-TUTOR.EXE in that directory.
  6. * Then UnZip the file Win95Hlp.Zip in that same directory.
  7. * Then UnZip the file Host-BBS.Zip in that same directory.
  8.  
  9. Each of those files should be Unarchived in that same directory in that
  10. exact order, because newer modules contain updated files by the same name
  11. as those already in the previous file group, and the newer versions must
  12. be allowed to over-write the older versions.  When completed all 3 modules
  13. will work together under 1 Batch file.
  14.  
  15. If you already have the original T-Tutor installed and setup to be run
  16. from within Terminate and/or TerMail, then use that same directory.
  17.  
  18. If you do not have nor want the Win95Hlp module, it is not required for
  19. the orginal T-Tutor nor this Host-BBS module to work.  But the menu option
  20. for the selection for Win95Hlp will not be functional.
  21.  
  22. If you do not have nor want either T-Tutor nor Win95Hlp, they are not
  23. required for Host-BBS to work.  And you can choose the Host-BBS.BAT file
  24. instead of the T-Tutor.BAT file to start this program and avoid the choice
  25. menu for T-Tutor and Win95Hlp.

  101.     For reading compiled/assembled hypertext documents created with Orpheus 2.
  102.     These consist of one .HTX file, optionally accompanied by one or more
  103.     numbered subfiles (filename.001, filename.002).
  104.

  106. USAGE:
  107. ======

  109.         OHREAD [filename][.HTX]
  110.  
  111.     The filename can be given with or without the ".HTX" extension.  If
  112.     no filename is given, looks for any HTX file in the current directory.
  113.  
  114.     Command-line switches:
  115.  
  116.        /g      - force grey-scale color values instead of color.  Use this
  117.                  if you have a CGA monitor that displays 16 shades of one
  118.                  color (grey, green, amber).
  119.        /c      - force color instead of grey-scale, in case a CFG file
  120.                  somewhere says you don't have a color monitor and you do.
  121.        /ns     - force no saves of Reader CFG files or other files
  122.        /nm     - force no mouse, in case standard mouse-initialization
  123.                  causes trouble on your machine (or you don't like mice)
  124.        /v      - get the version number
  125.  
  126.     Switches can be given before or after the filename, separated by a space,
  127.     and you can use "-" instead of "/": -b -ns.

  130. REQUIREMENTS:
  131. =============

  133.     Requires DOS 3.1 or higher.  Runs fine under Windows 3.1 and OS/2.
  134.     Desqview users:  define as a full-screen application that writes
  135.     directly to the screen.  RAM requirements depend on the size of the
  136.     HTX, but a 1-megabyte HTX should be handled fine in under 350K free RAM.
  137.     AUTHORS:  If you need a text-only version that runs in under 140K
  138.     free RAM (similar to OHHELP.EXE), give me a call.

  144.     Registered users of Orpheus 2 are licensed to distribute the Orpheus
  145.     Reader (this program) together with their finished works.

  147.     Note:  Andy Roberts of TSR - TERMINATE SUPPORT REGISTRATIONS is a
  148.            Registered ORPHEUS user/author.  And hereby gives permission for
  149.            others to distribute Host-BBS.ZIP provided it is not modified in
  150.            any way, and there is no charge beyond shipping and handling.

  153. USER INTERFACE:
  154. ===============

  156.     Orpheus 2 is designed to give power and flexibility to hypertext
  157.     authors.  The user-interface that appears with any given HTX depends
  158.     entirely on that work's author; this includes keyboard behavior.  If
  159.     the author of an HTX has disabled the standard Exit key (Alt-X in the
  160.     English version), he must provide you with an Exit command of his own,
  161.     either through an onscreen button or a scripted menu.  If you have to
  162.     hit Ctl-Alt-Del to get out of this program, complain to the author!

  165. SUPPORTED FEATURES:
  166. ===================

  168.     Supports all features documented in the same release of OH.EXE's
  169.     online Help, including PCX/GIF/FLI/FLC display, printing, and running
  170.     external programs via script commands.  Features you actually see depend
  171.     on what the author of a given HTX has provided.
